Introducing the Voters Services Portal
The Election Commission of India (ECI), the autonomous constitutional authority responsible for administering election processes in India, has launched the Voters Services Portal (VSP) to provide a comprehensive range of services to voters across the country.
The VSP is a web-based platform that enables voters to register and update their details, download forms, and access various other services, such as:
- Checking voter registration status
- Submitting applications for inclusion in the electoral roll
- Applying for a duplicate voter ID card
- Requesting deletion of names from the electoral roll
- Obtaining a certified copy of voter ID cards
The VSP is designed to make the voter registration and management process more accessible and convenient for Indian citizens. By leveraging technology, the ECI aims to empower voters and encourage greater participation in the electoral process.
